Possum Celebrates International Success and New Partnership Opportunities at REHACARE 2026
We returned from REHACARE 2026 feeling incredibly positive about the growing international interest in assistive technology solutions that support independence, accessibility and quality of life.
As Europe’s leading exhibition for rehabilitation, accessibility and inclusive living, REHACARE provided an excellent opportunity for us to connect with distributors, resellers, healthcare professionals and assistive technology specialists from around the world. Throughout the event, we strengthened existing relationships, developed new connections and explored opportunities that will support our continued growth across Europe and beyond.
One of our biggest achievements during the exhibition was completing 13 successful pre-arranged meetings with international partners, alongside generating more than 10 new leads for potential international partnerships. The level of engagement and quality of discussions demonstrated the growing demand for innovative assistive technology solutions across multiple global markets.
We were particularly encouraged by the response to Primo Pro and its latest enhancements. Visitors showed significant interest in the benefits of a simple-to-use dedicated environmental control device, as well as the new Bluetooth functionality, which enables users to control a wider range of devices, including iPads and Bluetooth-enabled televisions. The feedback reinforced the value of delivering technology that combines ease of use with increased independence and choice.
This year also marked the first time we incorporated German-language graphics and subtitles into our stand materials and product demonstrations. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many visitors taking the time to read the stand graphics and watch our Primo Pro case study video with German subtitles. This investment reflects our commitment to supporting our growing international customer base and making our solutions accessible to a wider audience.
Another highlight of the week was our second annual international customer dinner, which brought together partners and customers from a variety of markets. The event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships, share experiences and discuss future opportunities in a more informal setting.
During the exhibition, we established new distributor, reseller and partnership opportunities across a number of key international markets, including the USA, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Portugal, Spain, Germany and Sweden. These discussions have created exciting opportunities for growth and further demonstrate the increasing global interest in Possum’s solutions.
Beyond the exhibition floor, we were delighted to continue our strong relationship with DATEurope and to participate in their networking reception during the event. DATEurope continues to play an important role in bringing together organisations across the Digital Assistive Technology sector, helping to drive innovation and collaboration throughout the industry.
REHACARE continues to grow in both scale and international significance, attracting visitors from across the world and cementing its position as the leading international trade and consumer exhibition within the assistive technology sector. For us, it remains an essential event as we continue to expand our presence within existing markets and develop opportunities in new export territories.
Mike Stranders, Group Commercial Director, said:
“REHACARE continues to be one of the most important events in our calendar. The exhibition gets stronger each year and has become the key international gathering for the assistive technology sector, attracting visitors and organisations from across the globe.
We were delighted with the response to Primo Pro and our latest Bluetooth enhancements, as well as the positive feedback we received from existing partners and new contacts. The event generated valuable opportunities across multiple international markets and reinforced the growing interest in Possum’s solutions.
As we continue to expand internationally, we welcome enquiries from specialist assistive technology organisations interested in becoming a Possum distributor within their local market.”

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, attended our customer dinner and took the time to discuss how assistive technology can help improve independence and quality of life. The conversations, partnerships and opportunities created during REHACARE 2026 will help shape the next stage of our international growth journey.
And whilst the week was filled with meetings, demonstrations and networking, it also provided a valuable opportunity for the Possum ECS commercial team to spend time together, strengthening relationships, sharing ideas and enjoying a few laughs along the way.
