Environment

To limit the business’s impact upon the environment, we are committed, amongst other initiatives, to:

  • Only printing when necessary, using recycled materials where possible and turning off printers and other appliances when not in use.
  • Reducing the amount of waste produced by the business.
  • Ensuring staff use water and electricity as responsibly as possible.
  • Encouraging staff to recycle materials as extensively as possible.
  • Ensuring our products are fully compliant with recycling regulations, for example WEEE directives, and don’t contain hazardous materials (RoHS).
  • Using communication technology to reduce the amount of travel.
  • Appointing an Energy Champion to promote and encourage energy saving measures throughout the business and provide regular updates on progress.
  • Driving hybrid or fully electric cars where possible.
  • We commit to a long-term carbon reduction plan with the objective of being carbon neutral by 2050.

Charitable Donations and Community Work

The Possum Trust is dedicated to supporting and engaging in community initiatives and charitable work. We actively participate through sponsorships, donations to national and local charities, and by providing funding to community projects. Every suggestion is given careful consideration.

Supply Chain

We work with local suppliers and businesses to decrease our carbon footprint and support the local economy. We select suppliers very carefully and only companies who are equally committed to CSR.
